HOPE- A Small Word yet with the Biggest Impact✨
“HOPE.”
It is not a big word at all, yet it holds the greatest importance among all the words in the dictionary. Everyone in this world is hoping for something good and living with that hope—whether it is a job promotion, financial stability, family matters, health, or education. Hope is the very foundation on which we are all dealing with this world right now.
We hope to wake up tomorrow and complete our tasks, without ever pausing to think that life itself is temporary and uncertain. Even the finest ray of hope can bring a dead man back to life—that is the power of hope within every individual.
But what if that hope dies?
What if the last drop of hope dries up right in front of our eyes?
Then what reason is left to fight? Do we have any other reason to survive?
Sometimes, hope makes us both strong and weak. When we are hopeful, we feel unstoppable and unmatched. But when we are hopeless, surviving even a single second feels like being killed inch by inch. It suffocates us. It tortures us with endless questions about our very own existence.
Then we begin to wonder—what went wrong with hope?
I’ll quote a simple example. Hoping that a girl or a boy will stay with us for the rest of our lives brings light and joy. We dream of every day, every success, every achievement with them, building a life together. But what if that girl or boy has to leave because of their own reasons?
What’s next then?
What options are left for us to live life to the fullest when we had invested everything on them?
It was that very feeling that ignited our lives and brought us this far. So if that flame gets extinguished, what is left to guide us? For whom do we fight? Our very existence becomes a daily conflict.
Someday, we are told to move on—but with no hopes left in life, what is life called then? Is it still life, or just an everyday routine?
Hope, therefore, is both a friend and a foe. It lifts us high and throws us into the deepest holes. So maybe we should learn not to place our hopes too heavily on something or someone. Instead, understand that everyone serves a purpose in our lives and leaves us with a lesson.
It will keep bashing us until we realize that hope is everything. If someone or something makes us feel hopeless, look around—you have plenty of other reasons to feel alive and live life to the fullest. The world does not revolve around a single thing or a single individual. There are millions of reasons to hope—for you and for your future. Focus on that.
It is not as easy as I’ve written here. But just as hope gives us immense joy, it also gives us pain we never imagined we could live with.
Act wisely.
And I hope this brings a small change in your life too!!
❤️
