One Last Chapter for the Year 2025❤️✨

The year 2025 has been incredibly special to me in so many ways. It took me to new horizons of life, where I challenged myself at every step. I feel like I’ve been upgraded to a newer version of myself—both in my career and personal life. I am deeply grateful to this year for being my best teacher. It was truly about exploring my own potential and interests.

The year began with independence, along with the struggles of being a newcomer to a new town—Madikeri. I was completely new to living alone and to the place itself. The very thought of managing household responsibilities along with work all by myself was scary at first. But at the same time, I was equally excited about growing as an independent woman. I even started cooking for myself, which is honestly the biggest highlight of the year!!
My mother visited me for a week this year, and that brought me immense comfort after a longgg gap.

I learned many new aspects related to my work. I upskilled myself in areas like team management, coordination, timely work completion, and I opened up confidently to communities. I was growing every single day, and I could feel myself glowing up with my own little successes.

I was also fortunate to travel to new places this year. I visited Kancheepuram for the very first time and felt blessed by the divine vibrations of the temple town. I dared to trek the mighty Kudremukha Peak—something far outside my comfort zone (I fear heights and steep slopes). But I did it! Despite all the struggles, I made it to the peak and back.
Another wish ticked off my bucket list—YES, the Goa trip! It wasn’t my first visit, but it was the most fascinating one, exactly how I had imagined it. I explored local places too. The ride towards Bhagamandala, Kote Betta, and Kote Abbe Falls during the monsoon felt like a warm hug from nature itself 🌿

Another major milestone this year was receiving my gold medal for my Master’s in Forestry, which made me glitter more than usual ✨.

I even gifted myself this year lot more than any other. And the speciality is with my own hard earned money. That feeling is sacred to me!

There were many occasions where I reunited with family and friends. I attended my best senior’s wedding, which was also my first-ever Coorgi-style function—and it was an absolute blast!
The temperature at home rose when my closest cousin sisters got married, and ever since, we’ve been traveling up and down for work. That’s been our everyday heated argument throughout the year—and it will continue until all three of us are happily married 😜

This year also marked a new beginning for my family—we shifted to a new house. Truly, we are finding peace in pieces. I’m glad that my mother and I went on frequent temple runs, and sometimes even my father joined us. We all prayed for the same thing—settling in life.
I feel extremely grateful to have experienced intense divinity in Coorg. The Theyyam! Oh God!!! I woke up early mornings to watch the ending rituals of the divine dance. I even went alone to temples late at night, stayed back just to witness this powerful art form of worship. The energy and vibrations elevated my respect for our customs and culture to another level.

Another major takeaway from my work life this year was meeting new people from esteemed organizations across the country and the world. As a bonus, I felt extremely happy and blessed to be recognized and acknowledged for my work. What more could I ask for?

This year also gifted me some of the best moments of my life. I got to see two of my favourites from the cricketing world together at the same venue—18 & 96 🏏✨
Witnessing Virat lifting his first-ever IPL trophy was THE highlight of the year. I was completely starstruck, and that moment will stay with me for the rest of my life. That’s the beauty of firsts—they become lifelong treasures.

As I come towards the end of this blog, I feel extremely happy and grateful that I started writing consistently in my mother tongue on Instagram under @dugo_writings. I also began writing blogs under the same name and have remained consistent here as well.
On top of that, I started my YouTube channel—@savory_stories_1850, where I invest my time in my passion and upskill myself with every video. This journey taught me the value of discipline and consistency and helped me rediscover my passion, creativity, commitment, and interests after a long time.

2025 has left a deep and lasting impact on me in every possible way.

Thank you, dear 2025. You taught me countless lessons and transformed my thought process in every situation. I hope 2026 will be the brightest year in all aspects of my life—and I will shine higher than ever

Thank you, dear Universe!!! 🌌
❤️
